What was I thinking about the other day?
Sometimes my mind doesn't move quite as quickly as the time, or it forgets things even done hours ago.
Do you have that same problem?
I've been lazy, sickly, and happy.
Can all those feelings co-exist happily?
Surprisingly, yes.
These last couple weeks have been exciting, rewarding, new, and life-changing.
I have become someone I adore and someone who needs to try harder.
I have a new path set ahead that I rearing and ready for but also terribly afraid and anxious about.
My faith is not as strong as it should be in a time of life, such as this.
We are incredibly blessed, and when we are blessed I forget to be thankful.
I forget to give thanks to the person who made everything happen.
The person who gave his life for me, who only asks for me to follow him and do what is right.
It's hard though.
It's hard when you haven't been doing it for sometime.
It's hard to get back on track when you've been comfortable in the life you've been living.
I know it's worth it though. I know it's gonna be good in the end.
I just know it, because of all that we've been blessed with.
Sometimes my mind doesn't move as quickly as it should.
Those days, are the days I find out where I need to improve.

The 4th of July
Both Matt and I had to work part of the day of this National Holiday, before our festivities started.
After both of us had returned home we marinated some yummy chicken, veggies, and burgers and threw them on our favorite cooking utensil; the grill.
It turned out super yummy!
(I didn't get pictures surprisingly, because we were so hungry)
***********
Later, we went and bought some fireworks for the Smith's firework stand
Sparklers
10$ fountain pack
and (1) $15 Aerial
When it finally got dark enough we started our "little" sidewalk of "FIRE!"
My mom came with us:
(Blurry pictures to follow)
Momma lounging
Matt tying 6 fireworks together
Playing with the phone lighting
**********
I realized that my real camera didn't have a long exposure setting so Matt humored me and tried taking some pictures of my sparkler fun, on my phone.
I think they turned out pretty good, haha.
These are some of my favorite though:
My husband's super cool!
**********
After the sparklers we set off the aerial and it burst into nine awesome bursts of light only 70 feet above us. I couldn't believe the giddiness that ensued from my person.
Happy 4th of July, hopes yours was as enjoyable as ours.

Life has just been happening.
Life has just been happening.
Life is good, life is real.
Today is the 4th, and I'm grateful for our freedoms.
I'm also grateful for my friends, family, and my dear husband Matt.
I'm excited to see what the future holds.
I'm excited for what will come to be.
I'm grateful for my job, my life, my body, and God.
